Sowing Harvest

Mission: Collect and distribute food and basic supplies for local families

Goal: Collect 5,051 lbs of supplies by end of winter.

Sowing Harvest is Cascade Forward’s winter food-drive initiative, built on a simple truth: when a community’s basic needs are met, people can breathe, grow, and thrive. Right now, far too many families are stretched thin — especially our immigrant neighbors who are living under fear, pressure, and instability. Sowing Harvest steps in to ease that load.

This drive isn’t charity for the sake of charity. It’s groundwork. Every donation is a seed planted in hard soil — a bit of warmth, a little security, one less worry for a family trying to make it through the season. When we meet those immediate needs, we create the conditions for something better to take root.

Food on the table today means possibility tomorrow. A community that nourishes its roots grows stronger in every direction.

Sowing Harvest is our way of tending the field together.
