ICE Pop-up Protest

When ICE, the current federal government administration’s masked, disturbingly unaccountable secret police, began harassing and abducting people in Longview, the public responded. A Facebook follower told us he was going to protest them the next day. We told him he wouldn't be alone. We put out the call and over 100 people showed up, in the rain, with hastily made signs, to make their voices heard.

We live streamed this one. It was our first time doing so (although a friend of the project does stream all of our marches on Twitch). This was a big success, as so many people who could not be at the actual protest, feel like part of it. Connecting the protest to the world was eye opening, and something we will be doing in the future.
