Food Drive 2

The shutdown has ended, as Democrats have caved. So now SNAP benefits will flow again, after whatever GOP obstruction follows. We'll lose our access to health care at the beginning of next year, but at least we can eat. Truly benevolent is this regime.

Meanwhile here in the American outside the DC Beltway, the struggle continues. We held a second food drive today and were pleased to collect about 725 lbs. of food and supplies for our distribution network. It feels appropriate to set a goal of 5051 lbs. by the end of the year (fifty-fifty-one). Let's do our best and feed this region!
